Vodka, Vodka everywhere! Vodka for everyone!
A-545 is a 5★ AR obtainable from construction. While we’re in a time where ARs are not as highly coveted as the likes of RFs, A-545 at least stands as a strong option for when ARs are needed. With some strong crit boosting potential both for herself and her fellow ARs, she makes a solid choice in any situation, as long as the battle doesn’t last too long.
Her skill, Booze Formation, has both an active and a passive component. When active, she will receive a nice Damage boost and guaranteed crits, though at the cost of permanently reduced Accuracy and Evasion once the skill ends. Passively, she will give a Crit Damage bonus to all ARs while she’s the echelon leader or while the leader is off the battlefield.
With good ICD and good uptime, A-545 can really make strong use of her active skill. Because of it, she can forgo using a VFL in favour of a Holo Sight, and can even crit consistently at night with a PEQ equipped. Her passive will also never be out of favour either, who doesn’t love some extra Crit Damage after all.
Her only notable fault is the permanent debuffs she receives when the active component ends. She typically won’t care about the reduced Evasion, but the reduced Accuracy can hurt when against some of the more evasive enemies.
Overall, A-545 is a fairly straightforward but effective doll that’s more beneficial during shorter battles and becomes less reliable as the battle drags on. I’d say she should keep off the sauce for a bit, but I guess Vodka is where all the crit potential is hidden. So I say, carry on A-545.
With Booze Formation, A-545 is providing hefty crit bonuses. Passively, the skill provides a solid 20% Crit Damage as long as A-545 is the Echelon Leader or the Echelon Leader is off the field. Doesn’t sound like a lot at first but that is a nice chunk of damage overall. Also, the active component of the skill gives her a 55% Damage bonus and guaranteed critical hits, allowing her to consistently crit with ease even with a Holo Sight or a PEQ equipped.
Backing up her strong skill is a good set of base stats. 55 Damage and 82 Rate of Fire is a strong offensive foundation for an AR, and her good Accuracy stat of 53 means she generally won’t need much help hitting targets. Well, at least until her active skill wears off anyway.
A-545 carries a perfect tile layout that allows her to buff every SMG from Position 1, regardless of if you’re using a F or B formation. She buffs for 25% Damage and 15% Rate of Fire, an offensive boost any offensively oriented SMG would enjoy.
When the active portion of Booze Formation ends, A-545 will receive a penalty of 40% Accuracy and 40% Evasion. This penalty is permanent for the rest of the battle and can be stacked up to 2 times. While the Evasion penalty is not much of an issue, the reduced Accuracy is going to hurt her ability to hit targets significantly, especially if you’re fighting more evasive foes.
Ideally, A-545 should be reserved for fights that can be ended quickly, otherwise this Accuracy debuff is going to cause her overall DPS to reduce significantly.
