As the 7-day login bonus, AK-47 is one of the first T-dolls that becomes available to new players, and as a result, she may become an early Echelon member for many players if they have not been lucky enough to roll higher rarity ARs. Unfortunately, AK-47’s below average stats and weak Formation buff cause her effectiveness to drop off in the mid to late game, and for these reasons players should swap AK-47 out of their Echelons as soon as better ARs become available to them.
AK-47’s Strike Focus Skill can be rather powerful if she is provided with the right Formation buffs and Equipment to supplement her low base RoF.
Despite having a relatively good Skill, AK-47 falls behind other ARs in the late game due to an average Damage cap and below-average caps for Evasion, RoF, and Accuracy.
AK-47 also suffers from having a Formation buff that only affects the square directly adjacent to her rather than the square(s) in front of her, making her ineffective for buffing SMGs in standard F or b formations.
Despite her early-game availability, AK-47 will likely serve as a player’s first lesson in rarity not equating to greater effectiveness in Girls’ Frontline. Although her Skill can be a massive advantage in the early game, AK-47 soon will find herself falling behind other ARs due to her middling stats and odd Formation buff pattern.
AK-47’s stats are a clear sign of her weaknesses, as she has very low caps for Evasion, Accuracy, and RoF when compared to other ARs. Her Damage cap is also only slightly above average, which means that AK holds no distinct advantages over other ARs. Her skill, Strike Focus, increases her Damage by 35% and her Accuracy by 100% for 5 seconds at max level. Featuring a short Initial Cooldown of 5 seconds, this skill provides AK with relatively high early game damage even in shorter battles, but proves ineffective in the longer battles of mid-to-late game.
Unfortunately, AK’s Formation buff is useless in normal F or b formations as it only affects the tile directly adjacent to her as opposed to in front of her. If possible, she should be placed in a position where she is not directly behind one of the two frontline SMGs so that they can fully benefit from the formation buffs of the other ARs in the Echelon, but this will in many cases be suboptimal and serve as yet another downside to using AK-47.
Overall, AK-47’s poor Formation buff placement and weak maximum statline make her an unsuitable AR choice for late game leveling. AK can still be a decent early game damage dealer for players who are desperate for ARs to fill their Echelons ( assuming she is provided with damage or RoF-boosting Formation buffs), but players should swap AK out of their Echelons as soon as better ARs become available to them.
