Boys attempts to be an alternative to Hanyang Mod, but overall just falls really short. Where Hanyang buffs her own Damage, even more so at Night, Boys debuffs her RoF and deals less than 1x Damage per attack to normal enemies. In addition, Hanyang always attacks the furthest target during her Skill, while Boys remains locked on. This means that if you want Boys to target the furthest enemy (and thus pierce as many enemies as possible) you will have to manually retarget her or hope she kills her current target repeatedly.
Overall, Boys just is a much worse version of Hanyang, and there is little reason to use her.
Being able to deal damage to everything in range is quite good.
Boys doesn't automatically retarget to the furthest enemy in range, unlike Hanyang.
Where Hanyang buffs her own Damage during her Skill, Boys debuffs her RoF.
