Overview

CF05 is a cute 4 star SMG that bears a unique flat Damage reduction Skill. While in theory flat Damage reduction is better than Evasion buffing, as enemies in GFL either come with Sure Hit attacks, or increasing Accuracy stats, in practice her Skill’s value is way too low to take advantage in most situations. She excels at tanking AOE, low Damage attacks, such as Uhlan grenades, Rodeos lasers, Gundam grenades, and Smasher’s radiation effect. Packing decent stats for a maintank, and decent tiles to buff ARs, CF05 may find herself fielded by experienced Commanders in niche situations, but has limited value for more casual players.

Pros

Good stats

Having 950 HP and 73 Evasion puts her on par with UMP45 Mod, a widely used maintank that has good stats. This means that, Skill aside, CF05 can adequately perform as a second main tank.

Good tiles

She buffs 20% Damage and 25% Accuracy for ARs. Damage buffs are always welcome, even more so when the SMG in question buffs the entire back row from position 8, and while Accuracy buffing has diminishing effects, it’s still usable nonetheless.

Synergy with MDR/shield buffers

With her Skill activated, she can effectively tank better with the help of shields. Thus, dolls like MDR, P22, HS2000, M500Mod can help her tank better.

Cons

Niche Skill

Having a mere 15 flat Damage reduction skill, on top of a short uptime of 6s/16s means CF05 is mostly regarded to tanking AoE attacks, like Rodel lasers, Gundam grenades, Uhlan grenades, and partially tanking Smasher’s radiation. She can also tank Gladiator’s charge punch, as it also ignores dummy link protection.
