[Passive]: Whenever a dummy link deals a critical hit, add +1 layer of Marking on the target, stacking up to 15 layers. When an enemy reaches 15 layers of Marking, remove the enemy's HP shield and any evasion or armour increasing effects, and reduce its evasion and armour by ($debuff_value)% for 5 seconds. This effect can only be triggered once per target. [Active]: Increase all allies' critical hit rate by ($crt_value)%. Additionally, enemies with Marking receive +($amp_value)% more damage taken per layer of Marking. Effects last for ($duration) seconds.
Meet De Lisle, an odd 5* RF that is specialized as a support. Her tilebuff affects RFs as well as HGs, so that their skills can activate sooner. Her self-buff isn’t great, but she makes up for that in circumstances by making other RFs far more effective.
De Lisle’s passive permanently adds stacks to enemies that she critically hits, which apply even if she misses. The maximum number of stacks is 15. Since each dummy’s critical hit counts as a stack, De Lisle can activate her passive on an enemy in a minimum of 3 shots at 5 links. Focusing on increasing her critical hit rate and rate of fire will make this occur more quickly, but is not necessary due to how few critical hits she needs to land.
After the enemy reaches 15 stacks, she removes any HP shield, evasion buffs, and armor buffs from the enemy and halves their armor and evasion for 5 seconds. This portion will only occur once per enemy and pretty much shuts down hyper-evasive/HP-shield dependent enemies like Patrollers.
De Lisle’s active skill increases the whole team’s critical hit rate and every stack on an enemy gives an extra 3% damage amplification, which stack additively. With a maximum of 15 stacks per enemy, this means a maximum of 45%, which again is very likely to happen since it only requires her to have landed 15 critical hits on that enemy within 6 seconds. Alone on De Lisle, this works out to 15% critical hit rate and 45% single-target damage amplification for 5 seconds. Under ideal conditions this works out to about a 52%-56% DPS increase. As a support RF, that’s not bad, but this shows why she’s absolutely not a good unit on her own. Even M14, a 3-star RF, has a stronger self-buff than that at 60%.
De Lisle has no unique targeting traits, the only times she would switch targets and start stacking on another enemy would be if her current target died, or the commander did some retargeting shenanigans. So there will only be one enemy at any given time that has received De Lisle’s stacks, and so only one enemy which is feeling the full brunt of that 45% increased damage taken.
This is why De Lisle is a single-target specialized T-Doll. Her 15% bonus critical hit rate to the team is helpful, but not fight-changing. What’s fight-changing is the massive 45% debuff on one enemy. With other RFs on her team capitalizing on this bonus damage AND De Lisle adding in her own shots AND any HP shields or evasion being completely stripped from the target, they probably will die.
Another potential application of De Lisle is just putting down HP shield users/cleanse bot. Since her passive will remove it every 3-4 shots, she can theoretically just rip off heavy shields from enemies like Kratos, counter shield generators such as Archeron, and avoid specialized shields such as ARES and Orthrus. Same for evasion and armor if those exist.
So all in all De Lisle is pretty niche. Her individual performance is lacking, and she needs specific types of enemies or enemy compositions to shine.
De Lisle can reach basically every relevant HG position from position 1 on an RFHG.
Due to her removing all HP shields and halving evasion and armor on her target if she activates her passive, enemies that rely heavily on those (e.g. Patrollers) will get dusted quickly.
Due to her passive requiring 3 hits to activate and her active working mostly on enemies she has stacks on, De Lisle is more oriented towards helping the team focus on one tanky individual, like a boss, and struggles to make an impact on larger groups of enemies.
Because she is a support RF, De Lisle’s own self-buff is not up to par with other RFs, capping out at 45% damage amplification and 15% critical hit rate. The resulting self-DPS increase (~52% to 56%) is lower than most low rarity selfbuffers.
De Lisle’s own firepower stat sits at 109, which is low for an RF.
