Stops attacking to put on 5 performances. Each performance decreases 3 random enemies' rate of fire and accuracy by ($deb_value)%(($debu_value)% if "Black Cat" is equipped). Max 2 stacks. Each stack lasts 3 seconds.
Unlike her opposite, Clear, Fail is a failure. While they share a lot of similarities, those being Tile buffs, Skill restriction, availability, Skill buff from SPEQ, Fail kept the bad aspects of Clear while ditching out the good aspects: her tile position forces her to be fielded on Position 4, which is heavily contested by the likes of Nagant Mod, SAA Mod, and Stechkin Mod. Instead of individually buffing her teammates, Fail debuffs 3 “random” enemies, except it’s not random: Instead of debuffing from highest Damage to lowest, Fail debuffs from highest HP to lowest, which means her debuffs are wasted on enemy tanks, instead of the DPS units. To sum it up: Fail fails to keep the good aspects of Clear, while she retains the bad aspects. She’s clearly a bad HG, compared to her archenemy. She also fails to be a decent HG debuffer: with Nagant Mod and Viking Mod providing teamwide buffs on top of their enemy wide debuffs. Seasoned Commanders can completely skip duping her, whereas new Commanders can make some use of her until they acquire more HGs, so they shouldn’t skip on acquiring her and her SPEQ.
At 30% Damage and 50% Accuracy, she has stronger tiles than some of her Position 4 competitors, like SAA Mod, Grizzly, and Viking Mod.
While HGs are not tanks, Fail has above average Evasion among her HG peers, which means she can be kited to some extent.
Fail faces heavy competition for Position 4: SAA Mod, 5-7, Stechkin Mod, Nagant Mod, Grizzly, to name a few. Being a debuffer, she has little to offer compared to her competition.
Fail is a debuff-centric HG. With the meta in GFL favoring offensive HGs, it becomes hard to justify fielding her. Fielding her becomes even more troublesome when she is compared to other debuffers: Nagant Mod offers incredible tiles, on top of a 0 IC 10% Damage buff, whereas Viking mod has stronger tiles than Fail and also offers 20% RoF for half her Skill’s duration.
HGs are already squishy by nature, but Fail is even more. Kiting with her is the last resort because of her low HP.
Fail’s Skill, which is unsuited for general mobbing, also has a restriction, in that she can’t be kited while she is performing. This can restrict the RFHG’s survivability if Commanders are to make use of her Skill.
Her Skill has two glaring issues: 1) while it’s stated that she randomly debuffs enemies, she actually debuffs them from highest HP to lowest. That means that, more often than not, she’ll debuff tanky enemies that doesn’t need RoF and Accuracy debuffs, instead of a low HP, yet dangerous backline. 2) Her Skill works just like Clear’s, in that she individually applies debuffs, instead of a global debuff. That means that, on top of usually debuffing enemy tanks, she also can end up debuffing too few enemies depending on how many enemies the echelon is facing. Therefore she ends up relegated to a niche status for boss fighting, which more often than not favours buffs instead of debuffs.
Fail is an okay HG, but her availability is yet another issue: she can only be obtained during the DJMax collaboration event.
