Five-SeveN is an incredibly potent RoF Buffing HG, of which there are few. With a 30% RoF and 20% Crit Rate Tile bonus, she is extremely complimentary of rifles, working exceptionally well in any RFHG Echelon, while still having some applications in ARSMG.
Her Skill grants a further increase to RoF, but the Crit Rate boost is remarkable for the synergy it affords when used in tandem with Px4. Her ability to over-cap the buffed backline Rifles will ensure they remain above 100% Crit Rate despite Px4's stat reduction. As Rifles cannot equip PEQs for Night Battle, this also gives Five-SeveN a universal appeal.
Five-SeveN has very high Evasion and can be used to kite or tank in a pinch. Her excellent RoF and DMG stats - among HGs - and her exceptional, team-wide DPS buff make her a staple pick for 5HG echelons.
There are very few RoF buffing HGs, and many of these options will seem sub-par, such as Astra Revolver.
Crit Rate tiles are a rarity among Handguns, and not only does Five-SeveN provide a substantial amount, but the coverage of her tiles is excellent.
While Five-SeveN has an excellent Evasion stat, using her for kiting will prove less effective in scenarios with many low damage attacks, and she will not last as long as alternatives such as Welrod.
As Five-SeveN is a Limited doll, Commanders will be expected to pay the full Core cost to Dummy Link her.
Five-seveN is a rarity, as there are only a handful of competitive RoF-buffing Handguns in Girls’ Frontline - and only four HGs with a Critical Rate tile buff.
Her notable RoF buffs of 30% from tiles, and a 20% from her Skill, are just shy of her closest competitor. But, her exchange of M950A's Accuracy for Crit Rate is an overwhelming offensive option. Thanks to this, Five-seveN offers excellent performance to the majority of HGRF echelons, granting the large RoF buff that most RFs need. Her formation buff tile placement cements Five-SeveN as a Position 4 buffer, allowing the room to make use of frontline HGs such as Mk23.
Five-SeveN’s kit may limit her flexibility in ARSMG Echelons, but as she almost maximizes Crit Rate on her own, her combination of stats can provide consistent and reliable mobbing for low-HP enemies. Her RoF buffs may seem wasted on the high RoF of ARs, but most ARs which do not possess a RoF self-buffing Skill will be brought close to the hard cap.
Furthermore, Five-SeveN also has great effectiveness in 5 Handgun formations. She provides substantial RoF bonuses to GSH-18, as well as her combination of Crit and RoF to Grizzly, creating cheap and effective teams for farming.
All in all, Five-seveN is a valuable HG for many HGRF echelons, featuring minor flaws that don’t detract from her overall performance. While she doesn’t offer the unparalleled utility that some HGs do, she is still a notable choice.
