Overview
!name is a self-buffing AR, with her Skill increasing her [stats].
ARs have been powercrept repeatedly over the years, the use cases for ARs have shrunk, and almost every AR that does not have a strong Mod is not worth using. As such, !name is not recommended for use.
Pros
Super High Uptime
As usual for her archetype, FX-05 sports a 15/16 skill uptime compared to the usual 5/8. This is excellent for dealing sustained DPS rather than in bursts.
Low Initial Cooldown
Also usual for her archetype, FX-05 has a 2 second initial cooldown, letting her lessen enemy pressure by dealing the DPS earlier.
High Base Firepower
FX-05’s 54 Firepower is slightly high for an AR.
Cons
Threat of Overcapping
FX-05 can quite easily overcap her own rate of fire when given a chip and enough firepower buffs, making investment into her skill gimmick not very profitable.
Full analysis
Figuring out what to do with FX-05 is a bit of a pain. For some in depth math, the usefulness of FX-05’s stacks varies wildly, and can potentially overcap her given strong enough RoF tiles, enough stacks, and a #2 Processor Chip equipped. Here is a table of what stacks will do, with the frame FX-05 falls into put in parenthesis. From this, a general recommendation would be to not worry about giving FX-05 too many stacks. With even the smallest of SMG tile buffs she can threaten to quickly overcap herself.
