K5 is a buffing HG with a Skill that gives different buffs depending on Doll types on her tiles. As she is a tilescan buffer, kiting her should be done with a little extra caution, as activating her Skill in the wrong position will buff nobody.
Her Skill buffs different Doll based on their type, DMG for AR/RF, EVA for HG/SMG and much less relevant buffs for MG/SG.
30% Damage is quite good for a 4☆.
22% Damage for ARs and RFs is decent.
As K5's tiles need to cover all Dolls you want to be affected by her Skill, care should be taken while kiting her.
As K5 only buffs specific types, she cannot buff summons or things that are not base types, such as General Liu reinforcements.
K5's Mod gives her the usual increases to multipliers that come with rarity, making her already good Skill and tiles even stronger. In addition, she gains a very strong Skill 2. Her Skill 1 also grants MGs and SGs extra ammo, which makes it worth running her even with MGs.
Her Skill 2 gains different effects based on enemy tags (for a display of enemy tags see here). If enemy Elite units are present, she buffs all allies' (regardless of position) RoF and Mov in addition to her regular buffs. If enemy High-Threat units are present, she gives all allies 100% Force Shields for 1 seconds.
As Elites are absolutely everywhere now, the first buff would be active for most harder fights, and the second effect allows the entire Echelon to ignore massive damaging attacks such as boss nukes and such if timed correctly, provided there is a High-Threat enemy present (bosses are always High-Threat).
K5's Mod gives her even better buffs, both through tiles and her Skill.
While they only last 1 second, being able to make the entire Echelon immune to damage for 1 second is amazing.
As K5 requires specific enemy tags to be present to get her extra effects, she only does her special Skill 2 effects if said tags are actually there.
