LAMG is an unconventional MG, capable of equipping a PEQ. Her Skill switches her to 'AR Mode', during which she gets increased Damage and Accuracy as well as not using Ammo. It also has a low ICD and a low cooldown, giving her pretty decent uptime. As she only uses Ammo outside her Skill, using a bipod to just let her reload quicker also makes her CD line up pretty well with her reload times.
The entire thing where she can equip "AR equipment" isn't worth looking too much at outside the PEQ, using a Chip is worse than a bipod and HV ammo would mean you are using an MG (who still has MG targeting, ie. random) against unarmored enemies. Just treating her as an MG that gets to equip a PEQ is much better for everyone's sanity.
LAMG's Skill makes her not use Ammo, gives good DMG/Acc increases and has decent uptime.
3s ICD is very low.
LAMG still has random targeting, which really isn't a positive thing.
With a bipod, LAMG will end up starting to reload only every other Skill activation. With a small wiggle and manual Skill activation, you can override her reloading animation to let her keep shooting. In addition, due to how her reload times end up lining up with a bipod, her first, third etc. reloads will end just as the Skill is ready again.
While in AR Mode, LAMG uses her RoF as any other non-MG for her attack intervals.
