Your favourite soccer Doll has finally arrived. Lusa is another addition to the rare secondary maintank group of SMGs, and the rare SMGs with RF tiles to boot. Sporting high HP and non-synergetic active and passive skills, Lusa brings the best tiles an SMG can offer to both ARs and RFs. On top of that, she carved herself a niche against Coeus, the KCCO minitanks notorious for their random targeting. While her below average evasion means she’ll be eating more bullets than dodging them, Lusa is nevertheless a good addition to all Commanders’ roster, and an excellent option against Coeus. Just pray you roll good evasion RNG.
18% Damage and 25% Crit rate are tiles any offensive class in Girls’ Frontline would love to get. Fortunately, Lusa handles these tile buffs to both ARs and RFs.
Her taunt skill may mean she will get the blunt of damage for 8 seconds, but it also comes with a 20% damage reduction, which helps extend her survivability.
At 1025 HP she’s among the beefiest SMGs, which helps her tank enemies while her taunt skill is active.
While this is a pro, it’s also a con, as Lusa can roll bad RNG and take significant damage from enemies while her taunt is active. When she fights against Coeus, her niche, it’s possible that she will be heavily damaged if Commanders are unlucky, given her low evasion.
At 69 evasion, she has only one more evasion stat than MP5, an SMG notorious for her bad evasion. However, MP5 has an Exo SPEQ that grats her more than 50 Evasion (in comparison a T Exoskeleton buffs +35 Evasion at max level) and her Mod SPEQ also gives Evasion after SPEQ rework. Lusa, on the other hand, has no SPEQs to fix her bad evasion stat.
Her passive grants her a shield at every 20% max HP lost. Her active grants a taunt skill, but also a damage reduction skill. That means she takes longer to activate her shield during her active skill, which would be when she’d want it, as all enemies will be attacking her if she is in their firing range.
It is possible to bypass this by using Lusa on Forced Manual, and wait until her shield is activated to use her Skill. That’d extend her shield’s life.
