Gain 3 special bullets in each battle. Each use of the skill will expend 1 bullet and has her aim for 1 second and do ($skilldamage)x damage to her target. The last bullet will deal double damage and reduces the targets damage by ($debuff)% for ($duration) seconds. Every victory in the current mission will increase her skill damage by ($skillup)% up to 3 stacks maximum. [EQ Passive]: When equipped with "Barrett QDL", special bullets can do critical damage to non-elite enemies.
M82A1 is a free 5★ RF anyone can earn from opening crates in the Continuum Turbulence event. She is a sure-hit RF, ideally used for bursting a single high-threat target (e.g. Doppelsoldner/Uhlan/Hydra) early on in battle. Revelation of the False Idol has a strong 4.2x multiplier and a reasonable 6s ICD that synergizes with HG buffs.
While non-elites are often better dispatched by Carcano M91/38 and her insane 45x multiplier, not everyone has enough copies of her to go around and M82A1 can fill in a niche pick if her skill is nevertheless strong enough.
For the CT Ranking map where she is an advantaged T-Doll and has a 20% Damage buff, this is probably her best chance to shine.
Players who do not intend to tryhard CT Ranking or already have multiple copies of Carcano M91/38 need not invest in M82A1 - it is better to invest your limited resources into more generalist T-Dolls.
M82A1 is a guaranteed 777th crate reward from Continuum Turbulence, so any player who actively participates in the event will have her.
With an initial cooldown of 6s and a multiplier of 4.2x that requires no stacking (unlike most other single-target nuke RFs), M82A1 outperforms most other RFs with sure-hit nuke skills by a wide margin.
As a sure-hit single-target nuke RF, M82A1's skill is not always applicable in every battle; selfbuffers will be more universally useful.
M82A1 is outdone in this niche by several previously-released T-Dolls like Carcano M91/38 and Kar98k. Players who have at least two total copies of the other RFs (either 2x Purplecano or 1 each of Purple/Kar) have little reason to train M82A1.
Her skill needs to be raised to a high level (at least 6, ideally 8-10) for M82A1 to deal enough damage to the high-priority targets she is meant to assassinate.
Because it takes a minimum of 23 seconds (6s ICD + 8s CD + 8s CD + 1s aim) to fire her third bullet, M82A1's double damage 3rd bullet will never be fired in most battles.
In situations where she does manage to fire it, it will rarely make a difference. (Note that the Skill continues to work, though all subsequent bullets will only deal the base multiplier: 4.2x at SL10.)
