Mk48 is an MG with a Hunting Impulse Skill. This Skill has a low ICD and makes all attacks Critical for the short duration. As enemy HP has considerably increased with each new Event, this type of "kill things in the first volley" Skill for MGs just isn't very appealing anymore.
