Overview
NS2000 is an overall ineffective SG. Her HP is on the low end, barely beating out RMB, and she has a much lower armor stat than most of her contemporaries. This severely hampers her tanking ability, making her a poor choice for the main role she is supposed to fill.
NS2000’s Skill is passable, however and will give her some breathing room for a second or two -- but due to the high damage of MGSG Echelon compositions, it likely won’t activate except against high Evasion units. Even with this factor, the fact that M500 shares her rarity and also has a better stat distribution and tile buff makes it hard to suggest NS2000 over her.
Pros
Decent Skill
NS2000’s Burst Impact Skill deals 2x her damage to 3 targets and knocks them back 3 units (referred to as yards by Skill description).
Cons
Low Armor
NS2000 has the low armor stat of 20, shared with Type 97S and Super-Shorty. This means she can potentially take quite a bit more damage than her more armored peers do.
Below Average HP
NS2000 has the second lowest HP out of 3 star shotguns, and combined with her low armor this severely decreases the amount of time she can tank.
Poor Buff Tiles
NS2000 has objectively worse buff tiles than M500. While they aren’t as bad as the other two 3 star shotguns, it’s still a bit painful to see.
Full analysis
NS2000 has incredibly underwhelming and debatably terrible, stats, her 1265 HP is close to being the worst of the worst among SGs, and her Armor stat of 20 puts her at the bottom of the pack along with with Super-Shorty and Type 97S. Combining these two factors, NS2000 has some of the worst tanking potential out of all SGs -- which is arguably the only thing SGs are supposed to do. While her Skill is decent, it usually won’t come into effect due to its 8 second Initial Cooldown. If it does activate, however, it will do 2x her Damage to three targets, knock them back 3 units, and features no chance to miss. Since this Skill can be used to eliminate any units with a particularly high Evasion that MGs are having issues KOing, it could be said to be a slightly redeeming factor. Unfortunately, that still isn’t saying much.
NS2000’s tile buff is a 15% Damage buff to two MGs, and the pattern isn’t particularly the best, forcing her to either buff only one MG or to be included in a 2SG Echelon. Since this type of composition forces the exclusion of an MG or HG and therefore lowers overall damage output, it’s hardly ideal -- and while this tile buff is better than most other 3 star SGs due to it prioritizing Damage above all else, it still isn’t among the best. M500 has the exact same tile pattern but with a higher damage buff, making her a better choice in almost every circumstance.
Overall, NS2000 is a poor option for usage in most cases. She is an incredibly budget option at best, and that’s only true if M500 is not available to use instead. She has very few redeeming qualities and should be avoided unless she is preferred over M500 for purely aesthetic reasons.
