Decreases the enemy squad's rate of fire by ($rof_value)% for ($time_value) seconds.
NZ75 is a 5-star HG that slightly debuffs the enemy’s rate of fire.
Her tiles are decent enough, with useful firepower and evasion buffs and the ability to cover an entire F formation team from position 4. That is not recommended, as an HG’s skill is the most important consideration, not their tiles.
NZ75’s rate of fire debuff does not always affect every type of enemy, as some seem to have a set attack speed or deal damage through skills, such as rodeleros. In addition, there are many enemies that, for some reason or another, should not be allowed to attack at all lest they evaporate your T-dolls. Decreasing the rate of fire would not prevent that first hit from landing.
Even if the debuff made an impact, at best it is just a flat 30% survivability increase with no DPS buffs. Other HGs like P22 or Nagant Revolver Mod can offer a potentially larger defensive boost as well as a DPS increase, making NZ75’s addition in teams largely unnecessary.
There used to be one application where the rate of fire debuffers like NZ75 could be paired with SGs as one of the only significant ways to prevent incoming damage after they reduce all damage to 1. However, with the addition of flashbang shell equipment taking that number down to 0, this use case is now entirely obsolete. 70% of 0 is 0.
While she has decent tiles, NZ75’s status as a debuffing HG that lowers a largely unimportant stat makes it so she should not be considered an option in general use. Don’t put her in an ARSMG or RFHG. Instead, HG options such as P22 and Grizzly are better to raise.
NZ75 has very wide tile coverage and buffs the important stats of firepower and evasion by decent amounts.
NZ75’s survival-focused skill does not increase DPS dealt by the team, relegating her to the sidelines due to her usually inferior performance compared to a DPS buffing HG like Grizzly.
Rate of fire debuffs do not work against certain enemies, and their niche use case with SGs is completely moot. Additionally, the offered survivability increase, a flat 30%, is often weaker than other survivability tools.
