Overview
PKP is an MG that has a chance to trigger an extra attack on hit. Her SPEQ makes this more likely, provided she has allies on her tiles.
With her SPEQ-set, she attempts to overcome her issue of having no Armor tiles, and the result is... somewhat disappointing. With an Ammo Box, she will always lose all her stacks during the reload, meaning that incoming damage can fluctuate a LOT. With a Bipod, this is slightly mitigated but RNG is still RNG and you can still drop to 0 Armor stacks, while usually maintaining 2-3 during reload. As a result, relying on her for Armor buffs is just not a good idea, and she becomes a shining example of why doing nothing for 6 seconds repeatedly throughout a fight is just so bad..
PKP still has most of the regular MG issues (reloading, random targeting), though Accuracy is somewhat alleviated by her SPEQ granting a fairly large amount. With at least one Doll on her tiles, PKP’s performance is acceptable enough, and she is optional for general use.
Note that some older guides will call Terminating Barrage MGs the “Big 4”. They may have been some of the better MGs at some point in the past, but this does not mean they have kept up with new enemies, Doll and Mods being added. Again, PKP is optional for general use.
