Overview
Bamboo RFs all have similar skills that involve gaining charges after the Skill is ready and needing to aim to spend all charges, dealing increasing Damage based on said charges.
This entire RF type has a few significant issues:
- Charges take a significant amount of time to fill up (usually 5s).
- Using it early means there’s very little gain over just auto-attacking, due to aim time (this problem increases as you add RoF buffers to the Echelon).
- Significant chances of overkill.
- Long CD made longer by waiting for charges.
Bamboo RFs are generally not recommended, as simply using a standard self-buffer will yield usually better results. QBU-88 is no exception.
QBU-88 has an AoE bonus to every 3rd auto-attack, and her Skill hits in an AoE around the target. While these extras make her better at dealing with large groups of enemies than normal Bamboos, simply using a standard self-buff RF who kills the backline swiftly is a better idea. As such, she is not recommended for general use.
