[Active]: Begin charging after skill cooldown ends, gaining 1 charge stack every second, up to a maximum of 4 stacks. When skill is used, aim for 1 second, then deal ($min_dam_value) ~ ($max_dam_value)x damage to the enemy with highest HP based on the current number of charge stacks. All stacks will be consumed on skill use; Additionally, deal ($dam_pass_value)x damage to enemies within a radius of 1.5 units. [Passive]: Every 3rd normal shot on the same target will deal ($dam_pass_value)x damage to enemies within a small radius.
QBU-88 is one of the more interesting RF T-Dolls, with a charged-shot Skill that deals AoE damage, a rarity among RFs.
Despite QBU-88's unorthodox tile buff formation, it's actually able to hit 2HG in most situations, making it a fairly versatile aura for a 5-star RF.
While QBU-88 does not have a selfbuff and cannot deliver single-target burst, her pre-Skill DPS is extremely good thanks to her incredible 42 Rate of Fire.
QBU-88's passive cannot miss, but it is also hard to use - most enemies do not tend to survive RF shots for very long and even when they do, they will likely have lost a lot of Dummy Links already - reducing the efficacy of QBU-88's passive explosion (as explosive damage scales with the number of Dummy Links hit.
QBU-88's base stats rival that of the best RFs, giving her great pre-Skill DPS.
QBU-88 can wipe out a lot of enemies ~5s into the fight if her Skill is activated immediately, a trait not shared by most RFs.
Despite the strange shape of her Tile Buffs, QBU-88's tiles are perhaps the most future-proof among RFs, able to hit multiple HG from either 1 or 4.
RFs tend to not be used for situations that require AoE damage, especially since ARSMG teams tend to handle it much better due to availability of short ICD incendiary/hand grenades from the Offtank as well as an abundance of ARs who can fire Anti-Personnel Grenades.
QBU-88 will not perform as well as staple self-buffer RFs when single-target burst is needed.
QBU-88's passive explosion only triggers after three consecutive shots on the same target, which is not common as most enemies tend to die before surviving three RF shots. It also has a very small radius to the point where enemies other than her target are unlikely to be hit by the AoE unless they are overlapping with QBU-88's target.
