Overview

RPD is a 3 star MG obtainable first as a monthly login doll, and now only as a drop from Arctic Warfare campaign. Being a second volley MG already puts her below first first volley MGs such as M2HB and LWMMG. On top of that, she boasts a mediocre FP and completely awful tiles for SGs, on top of a small clip size. Lastly, her farm maps are neither farm friendly nor easy to find farming guides. With that said, despite her cuteness, she’s definitely not recommended.

Good Acc

34 Acc puts her on the high end accuracy spectrum inside the MG class, meaning that HGs fielded can focus on providing her with FP rather than Acc.

Cons

Second volley skill

Having a second volley skill means RPD lacks behind every first volley MG, as most content requiring MGs can be dealt with on the first volley. There are a few exceptions, such as Judge, but even then, there are dolls that excel in such cases, such as Negev or Lewis.

Awful tiles

ROF tiles for SGs are pretty much the worst kind of tile they could be given. Acc helps them hit enemies, FP can be helpful to DPS SGs, and even eva tiles can marginally increase their survivability.

Small clip size

Having a clip size of 8 means and average ROF means that she’ll spend more time reloading than actually shooting. M2HB, her direct competitor, boasts a 10 clip size. LWMMG offers a clip size of 9. M1918 BAR shares the same clip size, but has a SPEQ that fixes that. Unfortunately RPD offers nothing to offset her clip size.

Low FP

82 FP means that RPD is severely lacking in early DPS potential when compared to other MGs, making her a bad choice for one volley fights. LWMMG and M2HB, her direct competitors as budget MGs, boast 95 and 102 respectively. Meanwhile BAR, a second volley MG that has the same clip size as her, has a good 96 FP.
