Overview
ST AR-15 is a self-buffing AR, with her Skill increasing her Rate of Fire.
ST AR-15 is given to the player for free, has good performance in the early game, and has both a powerful Mod and SPEQ-set to keep her relevant later on. All of this combined makes her highly recommended for use in your first ARSMG. See the teambuilding basics guide for more details.
Mod review
Overview
ST AR-15's Mod comes with a few benefits:
Her Skill 1 gains 5% extra RoF, pushing her up an RoF bracket at level 109. This is also true with her Night SPEQ.
Her Skill 2 is an extra hit of 10% Damage, which can Miss, Crit and is affected by Armor like a normal attack. This makes her slightly more effective against linked targets as link protection will be less of an issue.
Her tiles also gain a small increase.
Her Mod III SPEQ gives 15 Damage and 30% Crit Damage plus some Accuracy, quite nice.
Pros
Multi-Hit
Against Orthrus or other enemies that set incoming damage against their HP Shields to 1, this can be quite useful.
Increased RoF Cap
With client v3.02, ST AR-15 Mod's RoF cap was increased to 150, making her able to benefit from RoF tiles.
Cons
Armored Enemies
As ST AR-15 is an RoF self-buffer with a multi-hit Skill 2, she is quite susceptible to enemy Armor.
