Overview
T-CMS is a 3★ RF obtained as the login reward for September 2020. She is yet another login doll who isn’t bad but won’t be needed by the vast majority of players.
Her performance is relatively good, being able to keep up with the likes of Pre-mod M14 and G28. In fact, she’s almost matching G28 statistically with slightly higher Damage, slightly lower Rate of Fire, though lower Accuracy thus hindering her ability at night. Having the lowest Rate of Fire of the three does cause her to fall behind in DPS in the long run, but in practice, they all perform similarly.
Her main issue is simply being a login doll. New players would need to wait three weeks to get her, in which they would likely acquire M14 and other stronger RFs. Older players with already developed rosters will find little purpose for T-CMS who doesn’t offer any significant reason to invest the EXP, skill data, and cores.
If you really like T-CMS or you happen to have been particularly screwed on RF construction, you will thankfully find a rifle with acceptable general performance. For most people however, raising T-CMS will not offer any real benefit and therefore cannot be recommended overall.
Pros
Good General Performance
T-CMS comes with 120 Firepower and 37 Rate of Fire. This is almost on par with G28, who has 119 Firepower and 39 Rate of Fire. Thanks to her Damage Focus Skill, T-CMS is able to perform a similar role as G28 and Pre-mod M14, albeit with slightly lower DPS in comparison.
One area T-CMS does fall behind in compared to G28 is her Accuracy, but this overall won’t be too notable of a difference.
Cons
Login Reward
Being a login doll comes with the notable downside of availability. It takes three weeks to obtain her and if you aren’t able to obtain her when she’s a login reward, you’d need to wait for her to become a drop in a future event. Also, she will need to be dummy linked with cores since duplicate copies are not readily available.
Despite her passable performance, these downsides do greatly affect T-CMS's desirability. She is considerably harder to obtain than M14 and other strong RFs, so both new and old players would see much less reason to invest into T-CMS in general.
