ICD: CD:
[Active]: Aims for 1 second and shoots the nearest enemy for ($damage_value)% damage. This shot can be avoided, and reloading after the shot will take two seconds. [EQ Passive]: When equipped with "M33 Reinforced Rounds", Critical Point Shot has perfect accuracy and bypasses HP Shields. Additionally, it inflicts 10% vulnerability on the target and surrounding enemy units within an area of 4 units for 5 seconds.
Thunder is a unique HG with a burst damage Skill that is analogous to CZ75.
With a 4-Second ICD and both higher Damage stat and skill multipliers, Thunder will deal approximately 50% more damage to her target than CZ75. Her Skill also features a baked-in target priority, meaning she will not aim randomly. Despite this, Thunder's Skill can miss and require her to aim again and delay her shot by 2 seconds. Despite being subject to Evasion, Thunder's Skill also cannot Crit, and requires manual use to sync with standard Handgun buff skill timers.
While Thunder may deal more damage, the niche of HG Nukers is less useful nowadays due to the ballooning HP values of enemy bosses. Thunder will find it hard to one-shot them, not to mention the fact that Bosses tend to have enough Evasion to make her miss frequently. Furthermore, Commanders now have access to other HG DPS options such as GSh-18 and M1911's Neural Upgrade.
As a niche point of interest, Thunder features high-value Damage buffing tiles. While her layout and poor Evasion stat mean she will be hard-pressed to use them in ARSMG or RFHG Echelons, they will greatly value MGSG Echelons with 2MG and optional Offensive Shotguns.
With a faster than average ICD, Thunder is capable of removing higher HP targets from battle earlier than other options.
With 35% Damage tile buffs to Positions 1, 6 and 7, Thunder can fit nicely into MGSG Echelons geared toward First-Volley battles.
Due to her Skill being an offensive nuke, Thunder does not find much usage in standard or meta echelon compositions, and even falls behind other choices in 5HG.
Thunder’s Evasion stat of 60 is one of the lowest among HGs, and is in direct competition with the layout of her tile buffs placing her in Position 5.
