Overview
UMP45 is a Smoke Grenade SMG, lowering enemies’ Move Speed and Rate of Fire on a very low ICD.
She is the strongest Smoke Grenadier SMG and is given for free from 7-Day-Login. As such, UMP45 is recommended for use.
Pros
Good Early Defensive Skill
UMP45 possesses the most powerful smokescreen skill in the game. The smokescreen slows down units within the radius of the smoke and lowers their RoF. This, coupled with the fact that it only has a one second initial cooldown, makes her skill unparalleled for providing tank support.
Phenomenal Buff Tiles
Giving both 18% Damage and 30% Crit Rate, UMP45 provides the ideal tile buffs for the backline ARs.
Cons
Falls Off Late-Game
As UMP45 relies on her strong tiles and early debuff to prevent the enemy from becoming a threat, she falls off as enemy HP increases as you progress further into the game.
Mod review
Overview
UMP 45's Mod I upgrade improves upon all the aspects that already made her good, with better multipliers on her Tiles and Skill 1. Her overall use case remains the same as her non-mod version.
Her Mod II however is sadly not very useful, causing minor damage to enemies that attack inside her Smoke Grenade, and leaving her at Mod I is recommended.
Her Mod III equipment is a slightly stronger Suppressor and is at best optional.
Pros
Stronger Tiles
UMP45's Mod improves even further on her already very strong tiles.
Skill 1 Improvement
UMP45 gains an additional 5% Movement speed reduction on her Smoke Grenade.
Cheap To Upgrade To Optimal Strength
As she only requires Mod I, she is very cheap to get to peak performance.
Cons
Skill 2 Does Nothing
Doing a tiny amount of damage to enemies when they attack is not very useful.
