An Italian variant of the M1 Garand, VM59 suffers from the same issues as M1 Garand, which is being overshadowed by M14, low Accuracy and low Damage. With the advent of career rewards, giving to new commanders a pre-levelled Springfield and SV-98, on top of M14 being readily available for new commanders, and still being useful for veterans due to her incredible mod, there’s absolutely no reason for any commander to use VM59. Despite having a SPEQ on the Black Market that brings her stats to match M14’s pre-mod, it still is not enough to make her relevant.
50% ROF self-buff puts her as one of the few ROF self-buffers RFs present in the game. It also makes her easy to use in early game, as enemies have low HP enough for RFHGs to prioritize ROF over FP buffing.
Her SPEQ gives 50% Crit rate, 8+ Accuracy and 6+ ROF when maxed. While her Accuracy still remains depressingly low for a RF, it’s almost enough to make her match M14’s performance during early game content. That alone is enough to put her above other RFs such as SVT or G43 for early content.
Having a completely, disgustingly awful accuracy of 52 puts her Accuracy below even some ARs. That means that VM59 will struggle against increasingly evasive enemies during the day.
Boasting a mere 104 FP puts VM59 on the low spectrum of FP among RFs. That means that she’ll need a lot of FP buffs to face off stronger enemies.
