A highly popular doll for… reasons I’m sure you can guess, VSK-94 is not one who got her appeal through her performance. That being said, her performance is nothing to scoff at regardless. VSK-94 is a 5★ RF available from construction. She looks like she might have some nuance at first, but in reality she’s a lot simpler than she seems.
Her skill, Double Alert, boosts her FP by 20% of her accuracy and the first 3 shots after activation do two instances of damage. There’s no real special application for this skill and she ends up as another generalist rifle in practice. Her average DPS potential comes to roughly the same level as Lee-Enfield without Speq.
Note: Do NOT stack VSK-94 with lots of Accuracy buffs just to boost this skill’s effectiveness. It’s always much better to bring HGs with FP boosting tiles and skills.
Since the main damage boost from her skill is front loaded though, she can outperform Lee and other strong generalists if the battle ends shortly after her skill activation. If not, then at worst she will typically be on par with these other RFs.
To summarise: VSK is a generalist that performs closely to other strong generalists and can outperform on occasions depending on battle end time. Nothing special or anything to write home about, but another addition to the great generalist RF roster. Not that her performance matters much anyway, we all know you were going to spend all your contracts for her anyway. No need to hide it, everyone else is doing the same.
VSK-94 comes with a fairly simple skill with two effects.
The most beneficial of these effects is she will deal two instances of damage for the first 3 shots after skill activation. This is effectively double damage for those shots and will give her a considerable DPS boost front loaded into the skill.
The other benefit is 20% of her Accuracy is converted into FP for the skill duration. While it’s the first thing listed in the skill, it’s a definite secondary component overall. 20% of Accuracy is a fairly pitiful amount overall and only results in a small damage boost, but it’s still some extra damage. Typically, she will outperform other RFs initially on skill usage from the double shots, and then the other RFs will catch back up over the rest of the skill.
VSK-94 comes with 133 FP and 38 Rate of Fire. An overall strong foundation for an RF.
There’s nothing too bad about VSK-94 in practice, but there’s nothing special either. If you’re a newer commander and happen to get her, she will be a worthwhile addition to your roster. But for veterans who already have a developed roster, VSK isn’t bringing anything exciting to the table. Strong generalist RFs are a dime a dozen and she doesn’t have anything to truly set her apart from the rest.
