Overview

This is a fairly minor client update. Although CN received v3.07 and the Steam client at the same time, they are NOT the same.

Special Combat Assistance (Mission Skips)

Clearing 1-6 will unlock the ability to skip other parts of the main chapters for a cost. There are three tiers to this, each intended to let you to quickly unlock certain gameplay features:

  • Equipment & Fairies: costs 0 gems; clears up to 6-6, 5-4E, and 3-4N
  • Coalitions & HOCs: costs 280 gems; clears up to 8-6, 7-4E, and 5-4N
  • Gray Zone & Mobile Armor: costs 500 gems; clears up to 11-6, 10-4E, and 8-4N

Note that skipping the mission will grant the bronze, silver, and gold medals from the map. The first tier is an easy source of gems for new players since it is free, though new players should obviously still consider playing the skipped maps normally for both the story and learning experience.

Also note that as a result of this change, the ability to enhance equipment is now locked behind being commander level 12+.

Collab Enemy Index

Note that everything is unlocked, even if you have never played the respective collabs. These also do not count towards your enemy index completion.

Miscellaneous

Bug Fix for Surecrit Skills

In short, they changed how surecrit skills were implemented internally. This bug only affected Hecate from the Arena Breakout collab and made her surecrit skill useless, as she did not scale with crit damage. This is now fixed and she will benefit from her surecrit skill (not that it makes her any good…)

Targeting tiebreaker changes. Again.

The previous client (v3.06) introduced jank where targeting tiebreakers depended on the number of enemies in range. This has been removed and enemies will now consistently prioritize the rightmost slots in your echelon.
